Colin Wood is an award-winning classical pianist whose accomplishments include first place at the Seattle International Piano Festival Classical Viennese Festival in the Schubert division. He has performed at various venues in the Seattle area including Resonance at Soma Towers, and the Royal Room in Columbia City.
His teachers have included Peter Mack at Cornish College of the Arts, Baycka Voronietsky at the University of Maine, and Yuka Sasaki in Seattle. He also studied chamber music with Paul Taub of the Seattle Chamber Players and pianist and conductor Roger Nelson.
In addition to performing, Colin has an active piano studio and works periodically as an accompanist. Raised in the eastside suburbs of Seattle, Colin currently resides in the city of Seattle.
